Hi, my name is Michael Omori! I grew up in Seattle, WA in an amazing community of family and friends. I did a bachelor’s in electrical and computer engineering and am currently pursuing a master’s degree in computer science. I have worked as a software engineer, data scientist, and teacher.

I am a lifelong fan of chess, especially bughouse/siamese, which I won nationals in several times. Currently, I run the chess club at the University of Hawaii.

I also founded a company to help people improve their health because health is the foundation for happiness. I strive to be healthy myself, exercising, eating well, sleeping well, and managing stress levels through hobbies, socializing, and other passions.

I practice a mix of eastern and western philosophy, along with technical meditations: like staring at a screen for up to half the day, imagining what the world could be, and sharing my visions with others.
